Are You Feeling Awful During Your Pregnancy? Do You and Your Baby a Favor and Try Homeopathy! There is no safer medicine!

Just this past week, two young women consulted me about their morning sickness. It should really be called “nausea of pregnancy” because it can last all day. Pregnancy should be one of the most joyous and memorable times of your life. What a drag if you feel like running to throw up and dread eating!

Here are the four most common acute homeopathic remedies that may help. Either you can take one of these remedies acutely (available at many health-food stores or natural pharmacies). OR, if you have chronic (ongoing) or more serious symptoms during pregnancy, consult a professional homeopath like myself. Not only will you feel lots better quickly, but it will a gift for your unborn child as well!

Cocculus (Indian cockle):

  • Even looking at or smelling food makes you want to vomit.
  • You may feel nauseated and dizzy from motion.
  • You feel sick looking out the window while riding in a car.
  • You must lie down with the morning sickness.
  • Can be worse from loss of sleep or caring for a loved one or other kids.

Sepia (Cuttlefish ink):

  • You can’t stand the smell of food cooking, even your favorites.
  • Motion sickness from walking or riding in the car.
  • You feel grumpy and the last thing you want is sex.
  • You love vigorous exercise or dancing.
  • The only thing that tastes good is pickles and vinegar.

Tabacum (Tobacco):

  • You feel death nauseated.
  • You are cold, clammy, pale.
  • You feel awful from riding in a car or a boat.
  • You feel better from cold, fresh air.
  • The smell of tobacco makes you feel terrible.
